flyweight champion Amnat Ruenroeng (14-0, 5 KOs) has targeted Chinese boxing
star and two-time Olympic Gold Medalist Zou Shiming (5-0,3KOs) after defeating
Puerto Ricos IBF #1 rated McWilliams Arroyo (15-2, 13 KOs) on Wednesday at
Nakhon, Ratchasima, Thailand. Ruenroengs promoter Jimmy Chaichotchuang said,
Ruenroeng scored a clear points win over Arroyo to defend the title
successfully for the second time. Chinas Zou Shiming defeated Ruenroeng in the
amateur ranks at the 2010 Asian Games and we would now offer to give an
opportunity for Shiming to challenge for the IBF world title. Top Rank should
take this opportunity for Shiming to become world champion. I am confident
Ruenroeng will defeat Shiming. | |
