Ford stops Boonjamong

In a nationally televised promotion, IBF #5 108 pounder, Fahlan Sakkreerin Jr. (30-4-1, 15 KOs) outscored Filipino, Lester Abutan (9-5-3, 5 KOs) via split decision over twelve rounds with scores of 115-113, 115-113 and 113-115 to capture the vacant IBF Pan Pacific junior flyweight belt on Friday at the Infantry 7, Maerim, Chiangmai, Thailand. In a major upset in the main supporting bout, Canadian light heavyweight Ryan Ford (6-0, 4 KOs) stopped former Olympic Gold Medalist Manus Boonjamong (5-2, 3 KOs) in round five of scheduled eight round bout.
Former world-rated 140 pounder Patomsuk Pathompothong (32-4-1) outscored Jacob Hutter (0-1) of Switzerland over six rounds. In other action, featherweight Nontachai Sakkreerin (2-0) outscored Khundong Sithkrutawat (0-1) over four rounds. Also, 130 pounder Pattapong Ratchapatlampang (1-0) outpointed Porjet Ubolsportcenter (0-1) over four rounds 122 pounder Varakorn Ratchapatlampang (1-0) stopped Nitipong Ubolsportcenter.
