Samor outpoints Magos Classy Thai flyweight Rusalee Samor (18-3, 8 KOs) scored a twelve round decision over Romnick Magos (7-2, 3 KOs) at Trat City Sports Center, Trat City, Thailand on Friday. Southpaw Samor outworked Magos in round one but the aggressive Filipino connected with accurate combinations in round two to edge the round. Samor stepped up the action in rounds three, four and five but Magos came back strong in round six and seven. The IBF Pan Pacific champion dug deep to out score Magos in rounds eight and nine connecting with power head and body shots that visibly hurt the visitor but the tough Filipino had a good round ten scoring with solid combos. Samor dominated the championship rounds eleven and twelve to be awarded the decision by 116-112, 115-113, 116-112. Promoter Jimmy Chaichotchuang said Samor and Magos both showed good skills and power in a crowd pleasing fight.
