Kiattaweesuk beats Sinyabi in IBF Thailand 122 pounder Thangthong Kiattaweesuk (24-0, 17 KOs) became the IBF mandatory contender when he stopped rangy Macbute Sinyabi (18-2, 18 KOs) in ten rounds at the City Hall Ground, Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand on Friday. Kiattaweesuk boxing from the southpaw stance proved too skillful for the big punching South African who had difficulty connecting on the elusive Thai who scored consistently with power shots to the head and body. In round two a left hand bomb dropped Sinyabi who never seemed to recover. Kiattaweesuk dropped Sinyabi again in round six and at 2:32 of round ten referee Gerard White crowned the Thai when the South African was down again. Macbutes respected trainer Nick Durant said. The world champion Jeffrey Mathebula is my fighter also and Kiattaweesuk will find him a tough opponent. Mathebula beat Cabarello in Panama but did not get the decision. In a supporting bout, Beijing 2008 Olympian flyweight Amnat Ruenroeng (1-0, 1 KO) made his professional debut against Indonesian champion Rino Ukru (14-15, 5 KOs) and dominated his opponent before scoring a KO in round four compliments of a right uppercut. Ruenroeng was outstanding amateur and will be a future world champion as a professional, proclaimed Chaichotchuang. In other action, Thai 140 pounder Patomsuk Pathompothong (18-1-1) outscored Japanese Takayoshi Aida (7-2-1) in a crowd pleasing eight round bout.
