Sakkreerin stops Munika By Ray WheatleyWorld of Boxing At 27 seconds of round ten the IBF Pan Pacific champion was punishing Munika on the ropes with a barrage of solid punches to the head and referee Chainat Hanviset saved the visitor from further punishment. Promoter Jimmy Chaichotchuang said, Munika came to Thailand with solid credentials. He had scored a very good win in London in June when he stopped Ryan Barrett in six rounds and the Englishman had a very good record. Chaichotchuang concluded, Current British champion and world rated Ashley Theopane was taken the distance by Munika but Sakkreerin bombed him out in ten rounds. In other action flyweight Rusalee Samoh (13-3-2) outscored tough Filipino Mabao D. Singwancha (17-20-1) over eight rounds of a action bout that had the fans cheering throughout the contest. (Singwancha dropped a twelve round decision to world rated Ryo Miyazaki in Japan recently). Also light flyweight Fahlan Sakkreering, Jr., (8-1) was impressive in scoring a second round KO over Yuthakan Sithsaithong. Sakkreerin connected with a perfectly executed left hook to the jaw that had his opponent of the canvas for several minutes. Sakkreerin, Jr., is the son of Fahlan Sakkreerin Senior who held the IBF mini flyweight crown. Sakkreerins trainer Rian Munton said, I am very happy with all our boxers performance today.
