17-02-08: IBF#15 featherweight Fahsai Sakkreerin (25-1) of Thailand was impressive in scoring a third round stoppage over Van Bantilan (7-2-1) of the Philippines at the Holland Beer Restaurant, Bangkok, Thailand on Friday. Southpaw Sakkreerin scored with accurate right jabs and left crosses in round one and in round two a accidental head clash inflicted a cut over the left eye of the importation. In round three Bantilan was cut under the right eye from a punch and referee Somsak Sirinianant had the ringside doctor inspect the injuries. The doctor ruled Bantilan OK to continue. A solid combination dropped Bantilan and the referee crowned Sakkreerin the winner in round three.
