18-05-2007:IBF Pan Pacific featherweight champion Fahsai Sakkreerin scored a seventh-round stoppage over Kirno Armase of Indonesia to retain the title at the Taiwan Association of Thailand, Stadium in Bangkok on May 18.Armase (15-5-2) outworked Sakkreerin (23-1) in round one but the IBF champion stepped up a gear in round two and dominated the visitor with solid head and body shots.
In round five Armase headbutted the Thai causing a cut over the left eye.
Referee Somsak Sirianant took two points from Armase.
Sakkreerin hurt Armase several times and in round seven the Indonesian was in no condition to continue and the referee crowned Sakkreerin.
Promoter Jimmy Chaichotchuang said: "Sakkreerin is ready to step up and fight world rated opponents.
``He is a future champion."
Former Thai amateur bantamweight champion Tantong Kiattaweesuk (3-0) was impressive in scoring a second round knockout over Bazir Bado (20-5-1) of Indonesia.
Bado was on the canvas three times compliments of accurate combos from the former Thai amateur star.
Taiwan's lightweight amateur champion Zhou Hsen Jia made a successful professional debut and scored a third round knockout over Kraitong Sithsaitong in lightweight bout.
Jia trained in Thailand for one month for this fight. He has had 19 amateur fights and looks a future champion.
Thai Prison inmate Patomchoke Patompothong (6-0) was given day leave to fight Khunsuk Sakpothong and despatched his opponent in round two of a bantamweight bout.
Mike Tawatchai (13-0) stopped Petmai Taweesub in four rounds of a junior-bantamweight bout.
Hard punching Nuapayak Sakkreerin (17-1-1) scored a four-round knockout over Rungsavee Taweesub in a mini-flyweight bout.
Jimmy Chaichotchuang said: "My next promotion will be on June 22,2007 for the defence of the IBF Pan Pacific junior-featherweight title.
``Fashung 3K Battery Tawatchai (57-8-1) will defend the title against Juvensius Laende (Indonesia) at Tawwethapisek School, Bangkok
